F1 / F2 Student Visa
F-1 Student Visa is applicable to those students who wish to engage in academic studies in the United States at an approved and accredited U.S. college or university. You will also need an F-1 visa if your course of study is more than 18 hours a week.
F-2 Student Dependent Visa – Dependents (spouse and children) of a F1 student visa holder is granted a F2 visa. You would need a F2 I-20 from your university prior to visa application filing.

No. You would need to pay a new visa fee and apply for a new visa.
